The Dynatek Dyna FS Digital Ignition box, or CDI box, is one of the hottest performance items you can buy for your ATV. Dynatek has been offering performance electronics for ATV's and motorcycles to both professional racers and weekend warriors allowing them to raise their level of riding as high as they dare. The Dyna FS for ATV's should be one of the first performance items you purchase for your quad.
The Dyna FS comes in two flavors, non-programmable and programmable. The non-programmable ignition is used on the Utility Quads while the programmable units are for race bikes. Both CDI boxes are extremely easy to install, simply remove your stock CDI and plug this one in it's place. No need to cut, splice or solder wires like the cheap units made by other companies.
So let's compare the Dynatek CDI box to the competitors, Moose & Highlifter. All three of these will eliminate any low speed rev limiters. The Moose and Highlifter Boxes will also advance your timing slightly to give better throttle response, but that's where the similarities end. The Dyna FS CDI box changes the entire timing curve and raises the rpm limiter from 8500 to 9200 rpm. This gives you more power and thus better performance throughout the entire rpm range. The Dyna FS CDI also eliminates the reverse rev limiter, the belt limp mode, and increases the spark energy. Both the Dyna FS CDI and the Moose are plug and play but the Highlifter box requires you to cut and splice into your wiring harness. For the money, the Dynatek Dyna FS CDI box is definitely the way to go.
